Enabling support graduates, ITP

This specialisation allows one to become a teacher with the duty to support and follow in teaching students with special educational needs with learning disabilities in line with Decree 249/2010.

The route to be followed differs slightly from the standard route: to obtain the support qualification, it is necessary to attend dedicated courses at universities.  

In Italy, to become a support teacher, it is necessary, in addition to obtaining a specialisation qualification for support, to hold a teaching qualification OR a suitable master’s degree and 24 CFU in socio-psycho-pedagogical subjects. 

Abroad, on the other hand, one has the possibility of obtaining such a licence, considerably reducing the time and difficulty of Italian practices. HOW THE TFA MASTER COURSE WORKS AND HOW LONG IT LASTS

The Master’s course lasts one academic year and awards 60 CFU credits.

Only the discussion of the final thesis must be held at the university where the studies are carried out. Study with Athena will take care of the travel arrangements.

You can qualify for the subject in which you specialised in your Master’s degree, in the class of competition that results in your degree.

RECOGNITION OF FOREIGN MASTERS

You can qualify in Romania or Spain.

Currently,the teaching qualification  obtained in Romania is recognised throughout the European Union. Directive 2005/36/EC, transposed in Italy through Legislative Decree 206  of 6 November 2007, stipulates that if one has obtained a qualification in a country of the European Community, the said title can be recognized to the same legal effect in any other EU country.

To specialise and gain access to the Master’s in Support in Romania and Spainyou need a Master’s degree and a licence.

you can enrol in the Master of Support in Spain, with a duration of one year and always 60 CFU credits. The course takes place on the online platform, including the internship.

It allows one to work immediately and apply for a licence in Spain.
